Recruiting Basics

The athletic program at Lasell University provides student-athletes the opportunity to develop and display their talents through collegiate-level competition. At Lasell University, athletics are considered an integral part of a sound educational experience with the goal to have each student-athlete strive to reach his or her potential on and off the field. The athletic department fosters the development of sportsmanship, community, fair play, positive societal values and physical well-being for all participants.

Lasell University is a member of the NCAA Division III, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference and an affiliate member of the Little East Conference. The college follows the philosophy and the guidelines of NCAA Division III and the GNAC. 

If you would like to begin the recruitment process with a coach at Lasell, the checklist below will provide directions on how to do so. Remember, be proactive in your approach. The earlier you start the process, the easier it will be for all involved.

We hope to make the college enrollment process as stress-free and exciting as possible while preparing for all possible scenarios. 

Fill out the recruiting form (below) in its entirety so we will have your information on hand. 

Send a Video or YouTube Clips

Send a game or highlight tape of you playing in a competitive environment.  We can't get out to see every prospect play. Looking at a tape or YouTube clips of you allows us at least something to go on, which may be helpful in evaluating your ability to play at Lasell.  Ideally, recruits will provide us with both highlight and game footage. Email your video to the coach of your sport, all coaches are listed in the staff directory.
