Malden, MA- Lasell pulled away for a 10–5 win against Curry College, using a big middle stretch to take control.
Bobby Long led the charge with a big day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs, while Tim Callahan drove in a team-high three runs. Jeremy Angeles also had a strong performance, collecting three hits and two RBIs, and Tyler McDonald was a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs scored, setting the tone at the top. Nick Nigro added two hits and two runs, while Braelen Silva chipped in an RBI and a double. On the bases, Lasell stayed aggressive, swiping seven bags, including two from Jonah Nielsen. The team also racked up five extra-base hits, keeping constant pressure on the defense.
On the mound, Derrick Dellea set the tone early, tossing five shutout innings while striking out 10 to earn the win. Jeremy Wacker and Michael Webber followed with three solid innings, allowing just one run combined. Benjamin Conlon ran into trouble late, giving up four runs in the ninth, but Lasell's earlier work proved to be more than enough.
