FH: Lasers Drop to Wildcats
Providence, RI- The Lasers fell to the Wildcats of Johnson and Wales 3-0 during a conference matchup on Saturday.
The Wildcats came out strong controlling their offensive end for most of the first quarter. Totaling 8 shots and a penalty corner, the Wildcats netted their first goal eleven minutes into the game.
The second quarter saw more offensive action from the Lasers, totaling four shots and three penalty corners. Lasell held the Wildcats off on defense with a scoreless quarter, sending them into halftime with a 1-0 game.
Johnson and Wales came out strong in the second half, putting two goals in the back of the net during the third quarter. After a scoreless fourth, the Wildcats took the 3-0 victory over the Lasers, outshooting them 34-6.
Up Next: The Lasers will head to Mount Holyoke for a non-conference matchup on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6:00pm.
