FH: Lasers Drop to Sharks

Newton, MA. - The Lasers fell to the Sharks of Simmons University in a 5-0 GNAC matchup on Tuesday night at Grellier Field. 

Lasell held the Sharks in the first quarter, allowing three shots and three offensive penalty corners before a Piper Rickman goal would open the scoring in the final minute of the quarter. 

The Lasers allowed two more goals in the second quarter, heading into halftime trailing Simmons 3-0. 

Simmons would score again in the third and the fourth to complete the 5-0 lead to end the game. 

Lasell was outshot by the Sharks 13-5 and had four offensive penalty corners compared to the opponents' nine. 

Up Next: The Lasers will hit the road on Thursday for a non-conference matchup at Gordon College at 7:00pm.
