Henniker, NH. - The Lasers fell to the Pilgrams in a season-ending 2-1 quarterfinal matchup on Saturday, Nov. 2 at New England College.
The two teams came out strong with a scoreless first half, with the Pilgrams leading in shots 8-1 heading into the second half.
The Pilgrams would net their first goal late into the third with a Meaghan McCamish goal, assisted by Tatum Golis.
The Lasers continued to battle, responding in the last few minutes of the game with a Jacquelyn Scopa goal that would send the game into overtime play.
Halfway into the first overtime, the Lasers would get a five-minute yellow card penalty, leaving them man-down for most of the quarter. After four defensive penalty corners, the Lasers would hold the Pilgrams from scoring to head into double overtime.
The game would end just over four minutes into double overtime off of a Drea Chin goal, assisted by Cristina Manzi.
The Pilgrams led the Lasers in shots 25-2, earning 17 penalty corners compared to Lasell's one. Courtney Tello had 14 saves in the net for Lasell.
