FH: Five Lasers Recognized in GNAC Post-Season Awards
Newton, MA- The Lasell University field hockey team was well represented in the 2025 GNAC All-Conference awards, with five student-athletes earning recognition for their outstanding performances this season.
Leading the way for the Lasers were Brooklyn Northcutt and Halleen Seguin, who both earned GNAC All-Conference Second Team honors. Northcutt was the driving force behind Lasell's offense this fall, with a whopping 13 goals and three assists. A constant threat in the circle, Northcutt's ability to create scoring chances and finish under pressure had her ranked 9th in the conference standings on overall goals. Joining her on the Second Team is Seguin, a standout midfielder who started every game for Lasell. Seguin provided an essential balance between offense and defense, controlling possession, distributing effectively, and anchoring both offensive and defensive penalty corner units.
Kaylene Ellis and McKenna Ecker were also named to GNAC All-Conference, taking home Third-Team honors. Ellis was a consistent force on the Lasell backline, starting in every game of the season. Contributing on both offensive and defensive corners, Ellis earned three goals and an assist on the season. Between the posts, Ecker proved to be one of the top goalkeepers in the GNAC. The senior logged 860 minutes in goal, recording 103 saves and a .769 save percentage. Her standout performances earned her GNAC Goalie of the Week honors three times over the course of the season.
Rounding out the honorees is sophomore midfielder Mara Boldy, who earned a spot on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team. Boldy was Lasell's second-leading goal scorer, finishing with 16 points despite missing the entire second half of the season due to injury. Her leadership and impact on the field were undeniable, earning her recognition for both performance and sportsmanship.
