Heimann Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

Newton, MA- Brett Heimann, a freshman guard on the men's basketball team at Lasell College, has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.

Heimann, a native of Miami, Florida, was selected for the award by the GNAC after a week when the Lasers went 2-1 overall, and 2-0 in the conference.  Heimann had a fine week, averaging six points, three rebounds, and two assists per game, including a 15 point performance against GNAC rivals Emmanuel.  He also provided four assists and three steals in that contest.

The rookie has played in fourteen contests this season for Lasell, starting in five games.
