Men's Hoops Chosen 7th in GNAC Coaches Poll
The Lasell College men's basketball team was picked seventh by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference coaches heading into the 2012-13 season.
Newton, Mass. (11/14/12) - The Lasell College men's basketball team was picked seventh by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference coaches heading into the 2012-13 season. The Lasers open thier season on Thursday November 15th at 8pm when they host the Anchormen of Rhode Island College.
Lasell returns nine members from the 2011-12 team that advanced to the GNAC semifinals. Second team All-GNAC selection in 2012 Sean Bertanza headlines a returning cast, along with Arthur Alexander, Frank Apisa, Jeremy Daniel, Brandon Ganesh, Rob Roy, Don Stephens, Brock Walters, and Mike Vallone. The returning members from the 2011-12 campaign combined to average 38.3 points per geam and 13.9 rebounds per game. They will be joined by newcomers Chris Canino, Logan Liberty, Richard O'Brien, Angel Ortiz, Drew Roberts, and Rob Watts to form the 2012-13 Lasers squad.
