Newton, MA- Lasell men's basketball earned a 77–68 home victory over Gordon College. The Lasers carried a 32–29 lead into halftime after a competitive opening 20 minutes, then outscored the Fighting Scots 45–39 after the break to secure the win.
Esmer Madesko led all scorers for Lasell with 19 points while adding five assists and five steals in 37 minutes of action. Che Hanks provided a key spark off the bench, finishing with 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting, including three triples. Cole Buker posted a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, helping Lasell control the glass throughout the contest.
Andy Madesko contributed across the stat sheet with eight points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three blocks, while Cameron Foster-Martez knocked down three three-pointers on his way to nine points off the bench. Tyler Costin added eight points, and the Lasers received scoring contributions from multiple players as they maintained steady offensive pressure.
Lasell's defensive intensity and depth proved to be the difference in the matchup. The Lasers forced 16 Gordon turnovers and converted them into timely scoring opportunities, allowing them to build and maintain a comfortable lead down the stretch.
