Newton, MA- The Lasell University men's basketball team competed against Elms College and took the victory 75-63.
Lasell battled through a tight opening half, using defensive pressure and balanced scoring to take control. After trading baskets early, Elms started to chip ahead but the Lasers were quickly able to answer them. Lasell found momentum behind strong plays from the Madesko brothers, Jonathan Box and Che Hanks. After a tough first half, the Blazers took control heading into the locker rooms 29-26.
Lasell came out aggressive in the second half, responding to an Elms run with efficient offense and clutch perimeter shooting.
