Colmenares Named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week

Newton, Mass (10/22/12) - Lasell College freshmen Miguel Colmenares (Caracas, Venezuela) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for his performance in the Lasers 3-0 victory over Suffolk University. Colmenares made seven saves in the victory for his twelfth win of the season and third shutout on the year.
The rookie keeper is 12-2 on the season, and boasts a 0.98 goals against average in fourteen appearances. Colmenares ranks 65th in the country with a save percentage of .824, stopping 58 shots on the year.
