Glenn Debuts as GNAC Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
NEWTON, MA- Andrew Glenn, a freshman setter from Westport, Connecticut, has been selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men's volleyball rookie of the week.
NEWTON, MA- Andrew Glenn, a freshman setter from Westport, Connecticut, has been selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men's volleyball rookie of the week.
The rookie debuted as Lasell's primary setter this week at the Rivier College Tournament, as the Lasers went 2-1 to start their season. Glenn finished off the impressive weekend with 98 assists, averaging 8.17 assists per set, as well as collecting 12 digs in three matches, averaging 1.0 defensive pick-up per set.
Glenn recorded 37 helpers each against no. 13 Endicott College, in a 3-2 defeat, and Elmira College, in a 3-1 win. He then went on to dish out 24 assists in the final match of the weekend against Wentworth Institute of Technology.
The Lasers return to action on Saturday, January 22nd when they travel to the SUNYIT Tournament. Their first match of the tournament is against Sage College at 2:00 p.m.
