MVB: Lasers Ranked 2nd in GNAC Pre-Season Poll

Newton, MA- The Lasell Men's Volleyball team was picked to finish second in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference office.

The Lasers enter the 2026 season following a strong 2025 campaign that ended with an appearance in the GNAC Championship against Wentworth and bring back an experienced core across the lineup. Key returners include 2025 GNAC Setter of the Year Trystan Maloney, all-conference selection Jasper Schultz, and a steady presence in the back line in Ryan Mesnik. While increased responsibility will fall on the returners following the front-line losses of Theo Zaharewicz and Dexter Thomas, a talented group of newcomers is expected to make an immediate impact.

Lasell will look to build on last season's momentum and turn preseason expectations into postseason success as the Lasers open the year with their sights set on a conference championship. The season begins this coming weekend with a four-game tournament at SUNY Poly.
