Nicholas Garifolas Named GNAC Rookie of the Week in Men's X-C
Garifolas became the first Lasell rookie to place in the top 10 in the first two races of their career.

NEWTON, Mass. (9/8/14) – Lasell College freshmen Nicholas Garifolas (Spotswood, N.J.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, following his performance at Fitchburg State on Saturday afternoon.
Garifolas was the top Lasell finisher, placing seventh in the 36 runner field, posting a time of 32:03 for the 8K course. Garifolas has been the top finisher on the men's team in both meets thus far this season, finishing 10th overall at St. Joseph's College of Maine a week ago.
By posting back-to-back top ten finishes, Garifolas became the first Lasell men's runner that has placed in the top 10 in the first two races of their career.
