XC: Both Men and Women Finish Third at Colby-Sawyer Invitational

New London, NH - The Lasell University Cross Country teams participated in their season opening meet on Friday, running in the Colby-Sawyer Invitational. Both the men and women each finished in third place.

The women had two top five finishers in Kiara Cerruti (3rd) and Katherine Kohtala (5th). Both newcomers, they paced the Lasers in the race with times of 20:44.4 and 21:55.0 each. The men were paced by freshman Luke Bullock with a 10th place finish with a time of 18:26.4. He did this in his first career race, which also happened to fall on his 18th birthday.
