XC: Lasers Compete in Bruce Kirsch Invite
Hopkinton, NH - The Bruce Kirsch Invite showcased impressive performances from both the men's and women's teams, highlighting personal bests and strong individual finishes.
The women's team finished 14th overall with 380 points, showcasing a solid effort against tough D1, D2, and D3 competition. Katherine Kohtala led the team with an impressive 86th place finish, clocking in at 29:08 and shaving 1.5 minutes off her season's best. Caitlyn Boston also had a standout race, finishing 89th with a new personal best of 29:30. Other notable performances included Molly Cohen (105th, 31:14), Victoria El-Azem (106th, 31:20), and Mikayla Bokis (111th, 33:40).
In the men's 8k, Amill Houston put forth a remarkable performance, finishing 100th with a time of 32:25, which was over 2.5 minutes faster than his previous personal best. Michael Curran finished 118th with a time of 37:29.
