NEWTON, Mass. (10/31/13) - The Lasell College women's soccer team will open their quest for a fourth consecutive Great Northeast Athletic Conference tournament championship on Saturday afternoon in the tournament quarterfinals. The Lasers claimed the top-seed in the GNAC tournament courtesy of a 14-3-1 record and a 10-0-1 record in confernce matches. Lasell will host Johnson and Wales University at Lasell's Taylor Field Satuday November 2nd at 1:00 p.m.
Lasell defeated JWU 2-1 back on October 12th, using goals from Devon Day and Kayla Lynch to knock off the Wildcats on their home field. The Lasers played to a scoreless draw with the #5 seed University of St. Joseph's during the regular season, as well as notching one goal victories over #7 seed Simmons College, and the #2 seed Albertus Magnus.
