School Records Fall at Tufts Meet for Women's Track and Field

Boston, Mass. (02/02/13) - The Lasell College women's track and field team set a pair of school records while they competed at the Tufts University Stampede meet.
Erica Miller ran a time of 64.19 in the 400M, breaking her own school record of 64.92 that she set this winter at Brandeis University. Melissa Cooley cut 0.63 seconds off her previous school record in the 200M, setting a new mark at 28.07.
Chelsea Zeig established the school-best mark for the weight throw with a toss of 8.09 meters.
Solange Carpenter stepped up in distance, running the mile for the first time in her career and turning in a 5:54.11 performance.
