Crozier Bestowed with GNAC Player of the Week Honors

NEWTON, MA – Lasell's senior setter Meghan Crozier (Ballston Spa, NY) has earned the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week honor.

The honor was bestowed on Crozier after an incredible week for the veteran setter who notched her 3,000^th assist on Saturday.  Crozier recorded 97 assists over the course of four matches this week, averaging over eight assists per set.  The milestone marker was tallied against Suffolk University in a 3-0 defeat of the Rams.

Crozier also added one double-double performance this week against Anna Maria, with 27 assists and 10 digs, and contributed 23 total digs in the four matches.

The Lasers completed their 2011 season on Tuesday night after a 3-0 defeat in the GNAC Tournament quarter finals against Rivier College.
