Lasell Softball and Women's Volleyball Volunteer at Brian J. Honan 5K
The Lasell College women's volleyball and softball teams devoted several hours of their Sunday afternoon helping a worthy cause. They volunteered at the Brian J. Honan 5K road race in Brighton, Mass., assisting with the operation of the event.
Brighton, Mass. - The Lasell College women's volleyball and softball teams devoted several hours of their Sunday afternoon helping a worthy cause. They volunteered at the Brian J. Honan 5K road race in Brighton, Mass., assisting with the operation of the event.
Teams from Emmanuel College, Simmons College and Emerson College were among the other volunteers from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
The 5K race drew over 1100 runners to the event which benefits the Brian J. Honan Charitable Fund. Particpants came from Massachussets, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Georgia, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Utah, Florida, Michigan, Illinois, California, Washington, Colorado, Texas, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Indiana, Wyoming, Virginia, Kansas, Missouri, Vermont, and Pennsylvania.
