Boston, MA- Lasell women's volleyball extended their undefeated streak to 6–0 with a gritty 3–1 road win over Emerson at Brown & Plofker Gym on Tuesday night. The Lasers took the match with set scores of 25-19, 13-25, 26-24, and 25-22.
After a dominant first set, the Lasers stumbled in the second but bounced back with clutch plays down the stretch in sets three and four. Senior Morgan Bogli led the offense with 6 kills and an impressive 5 service aces, contributing 13.5 total points. Andrea Aceituno added 8 kills and 5 digs, while Victoria Pariseault notched 6 kills and helped at the net with 2 solo blocks and 4 block assists.
Setter Sydney Katz ran the offense efficiently with 14 assists, and Madeline Caro anchored the defense with a team-high 14 digs.
Lasell edged Emerson in attack percentage (.158 to .116) and tallied 9 service aces to the Lions' 13, but capitalized on fewer attack errors (18 vs. 30) and stronger net presence.
Up Next: Lasell will return to their home court this Saturday, September 13th for another non-conference matchup, this time against Roger Williams University.
