Newton, MA – The Lasell University women's volleyball team continued their red-hot start to the 2025 season, sweeping Roger Williams 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-22) on Friday night at the Lasell Athletic Center to improve to 7-0.
The Lasers came out firing in the first set, hitting an impressive .429 as Trinity Silva and Morgan Bogli led the charge. Silva finished with a match-high 12 kills and 2 aces for 14 total points, while Bogli contributed 10 kills and added a service ace of her own.
Andrea Aceituno added 11 kills and 11 digs, posting another strong all-around performance. Setter Sydney Katz ran the offense with precision, dishing out 32 assists and anchoring the defense with 8 digs and 4 block assists. Lasell's depth was on display with contributions across the board — Victoria Pariseault hit a scorching .667 with 4 kills on 6 attempts, while Madeline Caro and Ariana Regala added spark from the service line, combining for 5 aces.
The Lasers dominated statistically, tallying 40 kills, 8 service aces, and 10 total team blocks, while holding Roger Williams to just a .115 hitting percentage.
