Newton, MA- The Lasers were handed their first conference loss of the season in a thrilling 5-set matchup against Emmanuel College.
Lasell fell behind early but battled back with determination, rallying to take the second set behind an aggressive offensive push. Emmanuel responded in the third with strong hitting, but the Lasers refused to back down, fending off multiple match points in a dramatic 29–27 fourth set to force a decisive fifth. The Saints regained momentum in the final frame, pulling ahead early and holding off the Lasers to secure the win, 3–2.
Senior outside hitter Morgan Bogli led the way for Lasell with 14 kills, two service aces, and three total blocks for a team-high 18 points. Trinity Silva continued her all-around production with 13 kills and 15 assists, while Victoria Pariseault added seven kills on a .286 hitting percentage to bolster the front line. Setter Sydney Katz dished out 16 assists and recorded an ace, and Madeline Caro anchored the defense with 18 digs to keep plays alive throughout the match.
As a team, Lasell hit .127 to Emmanuel's .164, with both sides posting six aces. The Saints narrowly led in total kills (52–48) and digs (59–56), using a balanced effort to edge out the Lasers in the decisive moments.
