Ft. Pierce, FL- The Lasell baseball team produced a strong offensive performance, recording a 11-5 win over Northwestern (Minn.).
Connor Freitas led the way offensively, going 2-for-4 with three runs scored, an RBI, a double, and a walk. Bobby Long also had a big day at the plate, finishing 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a walk, while Jonah Nielsen collected two hits, including a double, and stole two bases. Lasell generated offense throughout the lineup, with RBIs from Tim Callahan, Freitas, Jeremy Angeles, Declan Silva, Braelen Silva (two), and Tyler McDonald. Declan Silva added two runs scored, while Callahan also crossed the plate twice for the Lasers. On the mound, Chase Supan earned the win after tossing six strong innings, allowing just two hits and one run while striking out seven. Derrick Dellea, Tommy Flanagan, and Freitas combined to pitch the final three innings out of the bullpen.
