WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Saint Joseph College lacrosse team dropped a 19-2 contest against Lasell Saturday at Saint Joseph's of Connecticut.
Lasell improved to 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the GNAC; Saint Joseph is winless in six games, including four in the conference.
Diana Soucier (Avon, Conn.) and Dayna Gambino (Newington, Conn.) scored goals for Saint Joseph. Ashley Slattery (Weymouth, Mass.) had four goals and two assists, while Britney Wuorio (Bolton, Mass.) had three goals and three assists, and Bridget Ryan (Chatham, NJ) and Jen Lemoine (Trumbull, CT) each added a hat trick.
Alexa Katsigianis (Amherst, NH) stopped nine shots, while holding the hosts to two goals to earn the win in the net.
